Review summary

We chose this cruise because of the stops in Iceland and we were amazed. Also loved Norway stops.

the food was always good and wait staff was excellent. Most of the entertainment was very good. We were not impressed with the activities on sea days and the lecture series did not interest us. Would have liked more options besides astrology. The ship is in bad need of a major update to compete with newer ships and other cruise lines.

Caribbean Princess is in need of an update including beds, TVs, rooms. Our room was clean but somewhat shabby.

I understand Caribbean Princess Is scheduled for an update in March but in my opinion it should have been done sooner. Our cabin looked worn out as Skirts around beds are torn and worn out (snagged and ripped pantyhose), curtains were torn and coming lose, carpet worn, obsolete TV system compared to newer ships and another cruise line. On demand movies is a great asset during a long crossing cruise and was not available.
