Review summary

Great cruise. This was our 4th Caribbean cruise. Staff was very friendly; always said hello when passing in hallway or entering a venue. Ship was clean and well maintained. We had some weather issues and the Captain kept us well informed on what to expect and potential for delays and/or rough seas.

We had reservation dining that was enjoyable. There was a great selection of food and the service was pleasant.

Leaving from Houston is a bit of a pain because of the travel time/expense to the cruise port. The cruise time to the Western Caribbean is also longer than from Ft. Lauderdale so there are only 3 port stops. This can be both good and bad.

Reserved dining was great. Food Court was disappointing. Selection was small.

Almost no books in library. Ping pong table was on back deck where it was too windy. Never did find shuffle board court.

Ship seemed to have a lot of vibration even in calm seas. Outdoor movie screen area had too few seats.

Mayan ruins excursion was fun and worth the 2 hr drive each way.

Princess excursion to beach resort was overpriced. Food and drinks were mediocre. Would try non-Princess beach trip next time.

Belize City, Belize

Cruise Port is a bore. Only saving grace was free Wi-fi which kinda worked.
