Nice Balcony position, empty fridge, room always neat and tidy small balcony
Spent most of two weeks aboard ship considering Only allowed to walk on ports unless all excursions booked on board
Last days trying to get Internet to book Another PC.R.tests back home ,form on Passenger Locator Forms to be completed
Not one official asked for these documents just your passport
P&O where quite happy for all of there guests to purchase internet so you could login back home on Government website only to get so far then time run out more money to spend money for L.F.T no refund another payments for P.C.R test even though most including myself Wife Cousin all had Three injections and Flu jab before boarding ship
Disgusting treatment from P&O as they knew we where at their Mercy once we left UK
No attempt too negotiate with Islands officials to fight our case before them we all upheld wearing masks wash hands Sanitise our hands fully vaccinated to no avail on our behalf just Two Week Sunshine Cruise costs thousands of pounds where we could have traveled elsewhere
Sorry you had a bad experience. I have just returned from this ship. Disembarked on the 15th. I found the trip as a whole was great. The trips out were very well organised through p&o. Highlight of the trip was the stingrays in Antigua. The 'free' WiFi that was arranged for the final couple of days so passengers could fill in the plf was difficult to get on but went to the crows nest and staff were happy to help and handed out iPads for passengers to use for free. Only downsides I found of the ship were the immigration when we got back to Barbados was a shambles. No one on the dock to tell anyone where to go once immigration had been completed so they could go on the organised trips. The food was very poor. Best meal was definitely the glass House, or the free pizza on deck. Entertainment wasn't wonderful either. But none of that would put me off going on the Britannia again.
What on earth did you expect on a foreign cruise, going to multiple destinations in the middle of a pandemic?
You can't blame P&O for government restrictions. Every cruise kine would be doing the same..... you would ha e gad more cause for concern if you'd caught covid due to them not following correct procedures!
Unfortunately you can't blame P&O for the local island covid restrictions. The passengers just have to obey the local rules. I agree with others and would suggest you wait to cruise until covid restrictions have been eased. My step son was on this cruise and had a fantastic time.
Sorry you had issues. Many cruise lines / ports are requiring only approved excursions booked through the ship to get off the ship due to Covid. The only options are to accept the requirements or cancel the cruise if within the cancellation period.
