Review summary
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week honeymoon to the med. we had pure luxury from start to finish. If you are celebrating and can afford it, I highly recommend buying the ultimate celebration package before you go. It is well with the money. I had a huge bouquet of flowers waiting for us in the room, dressing gown and slippers for each of us. We had a couples massage, a huge breakfast in bed with champagne, a photo and frame, 2 meals in additional Michelin starred restaurants, Belgian chocolates, dessert treats served twice in our room. Well worth the money! The staff are all very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. There is a grab section on the lidobdecls sonofbyou are sunbathing and don’t want to move for lunch you can get salads, sandwiches and wraps, fruit pots and desserts to eat on deck as well as burgers and fries being served constantly. P@O are feeders!! The food everywhere is AMAZING! all the restaurants are fabulous, choose your formal wear carefully as you might not get in it the second week! We were fortunate enough to have 2 meals in the restaurants as part of our celebration package, we chose Sindhu and Epicurean. Sindhu was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. In fact it was an experience from start to finish and the staff are wonderful. The Epicurean was equally as fab, completely different food but an experience all the same! Where else would I try frogs legs and love them! Entertainment was good, if theatrevis your thing then you will love it, state of the art theatre and some good acts, our favourite was the charismatic Jimmy James who we saw twice. The only thing that I would grumble about is the up selling! It just felt like we were constantly being asked to spend more money. We did feel a little obliged to buy products after our massage which annoyed me. If you hit a costa coffee or coke they will try and sell you a drinks card, these do save money but sometimes trying to get a Costa coffee can be a little slow! Be prepared to say no! You can no longer check your bill on your tv so we went to reception a couple of times to get a print out of the bill to keep tabs on spending, let’s face it, cruises aren’t cheap! This is a family cruise ship so if you like to sunbathe in a quieter area there is a quiet zone at the front of the ship. On windy days or if you want absolute peace the best place is a sneaky place we found at the back of the shop starboard side! You might get a little soot though but is great for dolphin spotting near Morocco! Anyway, we had an extremely relaxing and luxurious honeymoon and have visited some amazing places. We have fond memories of the ship and can’t wait to book our next cruise. We met some lovely people, saw some beautiful sunsets and sunrises and have the privilege of seeing dolphins 3 times naturally swimming along side us! Fantastic time.Embarkation

Ship tip
Just go and enjoy it! If you like evening entertainment plan this well as the theatre can get busy. The lifts are a bit of a nightmare especially at busy times and sea days so be prepared to go up stairs
