Review summary

This was our 1st cruise and it didn't disappoint. Norway is stunning and the people very friendly. Yes it's expensive over there but we didn't mind paying. Just to give an idea of pricing, we went to Starbucks and for two coffees and two sandwiches it was £25.00. Bottle of water around £4.50

Had about hour wait in car park but after dropping cases we were checked in and in our cabin within 20 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1st class food at Sindu and loved our afternoon tea in The Epicurean. Buffet at breakfast time was experience, people pushing to get to things before you, but no different to most hotels. Food was plentiful and of good quality.

Epicurean

We paid for afternoon tea here. The service here is on a totally different level. This is top notch. From the moment we entered all of the staff lined up to take you to your seat. This is a must to do

We ate here twice on sail away days for a bit of snack. Burgers and hot dogs were ok. A winner with the kids that were on cruise

The shop down by reception would of got a higher rating but one of the guys called Miguel I think was just rude

Boutique Shopping Alley

Some real bargains to be had here especially on days they sell everything off

Reception

5 out of 5

Friendly and helpful. We had an issue of the toilet not flushing, they sent someone up straightaway and this was at 11.30pm one night

Photo Gallery

5 out of 5

Most of photographers were very good. There was one guy we started to avoid as his photos were bad

Oasis Spa

5 out of 5

Staff were very knowledgeable and put me at ease. I have never had a treatment before. But will definitely do it again

Entertainment

The Live Lounge

Top entertainment with Maxine and her tribute to Adele and Dusty. The Rat pack were awful. Always best to get there very early to get a seat

The Crystal Room

5 out of 5

Another lovely place to have a drink and either listen to the band. Or maybe try and learn to dance with the fabulous Ian and Penny

The Crow's Nest

4 out of 5

Very peaceful in there all though some of the people were slightly stuck up and would not acknowledge you

Headliners Theatre

3 out of 5

Venue was very hot and seating uncomfortable. Didn't spend a whole evening in there
