This was our first ever cruise and it was good enough first experience that we already have our second cruise booked for later this year.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was super easy. We got to Ravenna by train from Bologna, when we arrived, as soon as we walked out of the train station, an individual spotted our Royal Caribbean luggage tags and directed us straight to the shuttles.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
This was our first ever cruise so to us the meals were amazing. There was enough variety that everyone was able to find something to eat. My wife and I had dinner at Chops on our final night to celebrate our 20th anniversary and the food and the service was outstanding!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There's not a ton of activities available on the ship, but it was plenty to keep us entertained for the week. We liked mini golf, however they could have had a few more putters and balls. We also enjoyed playing the trivia games.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
It didn't seem like there was a large variety of shows, but what the had was good quality.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our waiter and assistant waiter in the main dining room were so great and so much fun. They kept us fed as well as entertained. Our room steward was also very good everyone we ran into him in the hall he'd check on how we were doing and see if we needed anything.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship is easy to get around, we did learn the fwd elevators were some time easier to use then the centrum elevators. It seemed like there was always someone walking around wiping down high touch areas.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Had a balcony room on deck 8 not far from mid ship. It wasn't a huge room, but it was big enough for all the more we were in there. It was fairly quiet except when it sounded like kids jumping on the floor above
