Review summary

Brilliance was a nice ship, with great staff. Everything is well done and organized from start to finish. I like that the captain talked to us from the bridge every day. Food, activities, staterooms, everything well done. I could have lived with only one port in Ireland. did a great job with helping me with my cruise planning. I called many times with questions, and Chris was always super nice and helpful.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean. A little small, but adequate and expected. Very comfortable.

Ship tip

Don't fret if you have "my time" dining, but can't get a reservation. Just go and enjoy the delicious meals.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

We were glad to embark here. One of the main reasons we selected this cruise...the embarkation and debarkation ports.

Ponta Delgada, Azores

5 out of 5
Even prettier than we expected. Delighted with our hike excursion.

Dunmore East (Waterford), Ireland

3 out of 5
Excursion to Dunbrody was nice but not much else there.

Cobh (Cork), Ireland

4 out of 5
Cute town. I loved the band on the pier as we departed. Very festive and classy having the band on the pier.

Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium

4 out of 5
Port is industrial, but excursion to Bruges was excellent.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

5 out of 5
One of main reasons for selecting the cruise....this port gets us to a great part of Europe. Amsterdam expensive and big city, but a great location to end the cruise and see more of Europe.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very organized on the ship. Brilliance has everything perfected from getting onto the ship in Tampa to getting off in Amsterdam.

We cruised on the Brilliance for our honeymoon 16 years ago. Still my favorite ship/cruise.
