Review summary

We selected this cruise because it originated in Florida, had a lot of at sea days and visited Ireland and Holland. Would highly recommend it. I should have packed more cool weather clothes. Living in Florida give one a distorted view of the weather! The first two days were warm, but then cooled off to 50-60's. Crossing was very smooth.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Checkin was a breeze, but had long wait to board ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Used mytime dining option. We reserved the same table everynight. Had great service and good food. Ate at Chops specialty restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. Food and service was good, but I was disappointed that we got dressed up for the occasion, but other diners were in the same clothes that they had worn off the ship that day. Took something away from our special occasion.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the lecture series, movies and shows in the theater.

Entertainment

4 out of 5

Library

2 out of 5

Very small, consists of two cabinets with books.

Cinema

3 out of 5

Cinema is too small, had to arrive > 30 mins prior to film start to get a seat! There was a good selection of movies offered.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the ships personnel were great. Our Anytime dining waiters were great as was our room steward.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was OK, the furniture needed to be updated. You could see where it was well used.

Ship tip

Great ship, I liked the size and layout.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

It was our embarkation port. We live in Florida so it was convenient.

Ponta Delgada, Azores

We took a ships excursion and enjoyed our visit

Dunmore East (Waterford), Ireland

4 out of 5
Enjoyed seeing Ireland. We took tour of medieval museum and Waterford crystal. The museum was interesting, but our visit was rushed. Would have enjoyed a little more time here. The Waterford factory tour was very interesting. More so that I had expected.

Cobh (Cork), Ireland

5 out of 5
We took the Wild Atlantic Way tour. We got to see the Irish countryside and spend time in a small village. Great tour leader!

Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium

5 out of 5
We did city tour, had great guide and really enjoyed the city.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

5 out of 5
We ended out cruise here. Spent a week in the city and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We carried out own luggage off the ship. Went without a hitch. If you are physically able would highly recommend. Only wish we didn't have to leave the ship so darn early in the morning.
