Some of the island look very much the same you don’t need to book trips from the ship they are a lot cheaper to book once you docked

Truly magical by RayHughes134

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Azura / Destination: Caribbean

This was our 1st cruise and overall we loved it. The anomalies were unfortunate but not enough to put us off booking another cruise which we did on board Azura.

Caribbean cruise by karen22hughes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Azura / Destination: Caribbean

We had a good time although there was some hiccups along the way, plenty of quizzes and games on the ship, pools very nice, restaurant s always clean and welcoming,I did have a hair in one of my starters and someone came to see us to apologise and took our room number,I didn't understand why he asked for it.We always went ashore as there was more to do off ship.

carib cruise by itsnastradamus

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Azura / Destination: Caribbean

There wasn't much to do on the cruise apart from repeated activities. Also the cruise was catered for and was typically 'English', even-though we were in the Caribbean. Too many sea days, and why oh why are there port days on Sunday? The WHOLE of the Caribbean is shut on a Sunday! its a waste of a port day.

Fantastic Caribbean Cruise on Azura by LIZZISS

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azura / Destination: Caribbean

We had a great holiday, loved the ship, the food was really good, and plenty of it. Entertainment was good, best was the Jersey Boys. Would have liked the open air cinema to have been working. We really enjoyed the Beach House restaurant, our favourite. The dining staff are very efficient, do a great job, but would have liked a bit more interactive eg, friendlier, they were very professional, but I like a bit of chat with crew.

40 years married by 1960ronnie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azura / Destination: Caribbean

Considering the ship was built in 2010 we found it a little bit tired and in need of refurbishment a lot of things were not working and entertainment was very low-key and the service was good but as my first experience was on the Ventura The sistership in 2008 was set up a lot better you could move about the ship experiencing different types of entertainment everything seems to be on the same time .now there is little room for for people on board to watch shows comfortably WiFi was a big problem and costly 🤑P and O are cost-cutting far too much this really spoils experience of cruising all in all an average 14 days

The outbound Tui premium flight... by Satonthebalcony

Sail date: /
Ship: Azura

The outbound Tui premium flight was excellent, not far from the experience of some Business class flights. Transfer and boarding were all very efficiently completed. The aft suite we had was very well presented and Clive our Steward and Malcom the Butler were exceptionally good in attending to our needs and requests. Breakfasts in the Epicurean were always a great start to the day. When we were onboard we always had lunch on our balcony and enjoyed the good food in the privacy of our own surroundings. We dined three time in the Epicurean and twice in Sindhu and enjoyed all the meals. We also visited the Beachhouse and the Glasshouse to eat. We visited the buffet only to browse for afternoon tea, but the food always looks very appealing. We partook in 7 P and O arranged trips. Two were very good trips on St Kitts and St Maarten, the remainder were mediocre at best apart from one which was poor. On Tortola the forest walk was led by I driver. To say he had a rudimentary knowledge is probably flattering. Whilst returning to the ship the driver had the habit of knocking his vehicle out of gear and coasting down the hill with only the brakes to retard the vehicle, not a good idea when the gradient is 20% and the smell of overheating brake pads is pervading the air. We did mention this to P and O tour guide later but she seemed totally disinterested, although she appeared to note our details we heard no more about it, so apathy ruled. The ship was clean and we saw the captain out and about several times, and at one point he stopped to chat to us. The staff were attentive and cheerful with only very few exceptions and we all have bad days! We did not partake in the entertainments but enjoyed occasionally visiting particularly Breakers bar and the Planet bar. On the negative side the claiming of sunbeds appeared to be a major issue. It did not affect us directly as we used the sunbeds on our balcony but as we are early birds and always around the ship early in the morning the amount of beds claimed by bags, books and towels was excessive. At one point we observed a cluster of 23 sunbeds all claimed but with not a single person sitting there. Staff seemed to be strategically ignoring the problem.

Excellent trip with some reservations by Cruisekid1442

I enjoyed the cruise with some reservation mainly bring sea screens non availability and repetitious cabaret acts . The Epicure Beach Hut and Glass house restaurants were first class .

Unfortunately weather not good but think azura could do with a general refit along with other older p and o ships to bring them up to the standards of britannia

Went on our first Cruise... by sircruzalot

Sail date: /
Ship: Azura

Went on our first Cruise 7 years ago on Ventura which is Azura’s sister ship and enjoyed it and since cruised with Oceania and Celebrity. Once back with P&O I am very disappointed. Food isn’t great, haven’t met a member of staff with a smile, to be honest it’s hard to see as they barge past you. Everything on the Ship is extra, soft drinks, ice cream, shuttles! Rooms are tiny and haven’t been updated in decades, the bars have been done up and looks good but very busy due to the size of the ship. It’s far better to pay more to go on a better ships from Oceania or Celebrity’s fleet where most things are included.
