Review summary

Went on our first Cruise 7 years ago on Ventura which is Azura’s sister ship and enjoyed it and since cruised with Oceania and Celebrity. Once back with P&O I am very disappointed. Food isn’t great, haven’t met a member of staff with a smile, to be honest it’s hard to see as they barge past you. Everything on the Ship is extra, soft drinks, ice cream, shuttles! Rooms are tiny and haven’t been updated in decades, the bars have been done up and looks good but very busy due to the size of the ship. It’s far better to pay more to go on a better ships from Oceania or Celebrity’s fleet where most things are included.

If you feel that way about P&O you should try Princess..... you really do pay for everything on board including 15% on top of every drink and fortune in gratuities. Each to his own.......I like P&O, wouldn't be seen dead on RCI, never tried Celebrity. As I said each to his owb

Finally....Ventura's maiden voyage was in 2008 so your comment "haven't been upgraded in decades"?? "Decades" is plural!!!

If you express an opinion its open for discussion and critisism by those who disagree which in this instance appears to be... everyone!!

Why dont you just go away. If I didn't like it I would say but P&O all the way for me

Stick to P&O.. From looking at this app there is no point in anyone giving THEIR opinion because the ships groupies will just bully and belittle anyone that doesn’t share their opinion..

Oh what a wit. So you pay more and get free soft drinks and a bus Wow

I’m sure no one has ever had a bad experience on P&O and anyone that has must be lying... should have given it 5 stars for anyone that likes a cheap cruise.

On Ventura now and overall have experienced the total opposite. There may be a slight reduction in the food quality and choice. You have to pay for ice cream, soft drinks and.....oh dear shuttles which are free on other lines??...no, you pay for it somewhere. I have never been "barged past" by a member of staff and most seem quite happy

I always treat everyone with respect. You clearly like P&O and I don’t.. I’ll stick to Oceania and Celebrity in the future.

As for the ships they have had refits and the cabins are a good size.

I don't agree with you we've sailed 21 times with P and 0 I'm a retired chef never found a problem with the food or the crew, if you treat the crew with respect you will always get a smile.
