Review summary

We had a fantastic time and it really felt like a holiday of a lifetime and was well worth the the 3 year wait.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Our embarkation couldn't have been any better. The staff all the way through the whole process were extremely helpful, friendly and created a lovely atmosphere. We couldn't have hope for a better experience especially after covid and not knowing what to expect.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
A view from the sports deck after a very hot but fun game of archery 🏹

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was fantastic especially the Headliners entertainment company.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The children's club ( The Reef ) was Brilliant out 10 year old loved it.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service and staff throughout the whole cruise was fantastic especially considering they were short staffed they all did a first class job. With additional praise going to our fantastic waiter Rohan and life guard Ricky

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Over all we thought the ship was very clean and consistent maintenance to keep her ship shape. Her design although a little dated is was very well thought out.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was was lovely. It was clean, well equipped and we were well looked after by our cabin steward.

Ship tip

Landry is free to use. I would recommend taking your own washing tablets. Take a hilighter to mark things in the horizon you don't want to miss. Book early for the Theatre to avoid disappointment.

Ports of call

Mykonos, Greece

Very much a party island and very expensive. The partying is evident by all the rubbish left on the beach. It has a interesting history and is worth a visit but wouldn't spend more than a day there.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

5 out of 5
We took an open top hop on hop off tour bus to the Acropolis and saw where the first ever Olympics was held.

Rhodes, Greece

5 out of 5
We had a fantastic trip on a glass bottom boat. There are several boat trip operators so there is plenty of choice and room to haggle.

TUSCANY REGION, ITALY

5 out of 5
We went to Florence and Pisa. We had a fantastic tour guid Alessandro who really gave us a fantastic experience and took us to a beautiful tuscan restaurant.

Heraklion

2 out of 5
We had been told that unless on a P&O excursion it is rather difficult to access so as we had been to lots of ports and had been very busy. We chose to stay on the ship and enjoy the facilities on board.

Ajaccio, Corsica

5 out of 5
Has a beautiful beach 5 minutes walk from the ship. A lovely little road train tour round the town.

Naples, Italy

Was a lovely place to visit we even found Peter's beach wich our son Peter wasn't to impressed 😀

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

Was a lovely place to visit

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We felt that the disembarkation process could have been better. We were told what area to go to but you couldn't go there to early or you would be sent away. You couldn't go back to your cabin and as there wasn't anything open you couldn't really do anything either. Your cruise cards expired at midnight so you couldn't get a drink. It felt like well you have had your cruise now sit quietly while we get you off the ship. I don't like to criticise as I thought the whole experience was brilliant and we are already planning our next cruise. I just feel the disembarkation process could be better.
