This was a wonderful cruise and the trip of a lifetime.

This was our very first cruise and overall we were very pleased with how comfortable it was and how friendly the staff were. The staff really made it very enjoyable for us! I was unfortunately disappointed that we never seemed to have any decent conversations with any of the other passengers though, even though most of them were F1 fans as well. They were mostly white. The British ones in particular were standoff-ish and never bothered to say hello, or if they did, it was in a very disinterested and curt way. Not very friendly at all. If it weren’t for the friendliness of the staff, it could have easily become a rather poor experience based on the snobby behaviour of the other passengers. But we were mostly busy going about in ports on excursions or at the F1 track, so we had a good time anyway. The White Night Party was held on the evening of race day and the ship stayed in the Monaco harbour for several hours during the party. So it was a beautiful and glamourous way to enjoy the views and have a great time in Monaco! It’s a lovely and very comfortable way to attend the Monaco Grand prix and travel in style!

Even with the website issues, we really liked the ship, food, crew and service! Would not hesitate to book again!

Loved Azamara, ship size, excellent staff and food, entertainment was great, multi national crew and passengers make it so enjoyable. My only complaint is their communications are really bad from the corporate side. They took 3 weeks to answer a question by then I was already cruising! They cancelled Israel 2 days prior to sailing, gave NO explanation other than safety concerns. However our politicians were there for one week, obviously not an issue for them! Disappointed as Israel was why we went! 2 days before end of cruise they slipped a note under the door apologizing for Israel stop and offered cruise credit based on your costs. Nice but 7 days too late.

The cruise was very nice. The accommodations were perfect, the staff was amazing and the food was the best we had on a cruise. The activities were not so good, but we enjoyed the live music and dancing.

Great food. Lovely staff in meals areas , cabin attendants, and bars, let down by admin.We will give Viking a go for our next holidays. If priority is new guests that fine, but no need to rub it in by putting us on a shuttle 45 minutes too early, forcing about a dozen back guests to watch dozens of new arrivals parade through customs, and leaving us wait until everyone else was looked after. Poorly done Adamara, you lost me!

First time on Azamara, I hope to be able to return as soon as possible! Elegant and relaxing environment, what you are looking for on a holiday!
