Review summary

The cruise was very nice. The accommodations were perfect, the staff was amazing and the food was the best we had on a cruise. The activities were not so good, but we enjoyed the live music and dancing.

Great embarkation experience. The staff was amazing and we felt welcome. It was a hot day and the process was quite low, so we would have appreciated some water. Our room attendant was polite and welcoming. She helped us sort out an issue with the safe.

The food was incredible. Breakfast buffet was amazing and service at the main restaurant was good. I loved that on special occasions the officials served you.

Onboard Activities

The activities are probably not the main attraction in Azamara. I would have hoped they had more options, and specially activities outside the fitness center. I only attended a yoga class and would have enjoyed some action the pool or in the track.

Entertainment

I skipped the Azamazing evening so I could be biased, but I enjoyed the entertainment a lot. The musicians were really good and the repertoire was of my liking. The DJ was ok.

The staff was AMAZING. My husband and I felt they really cared.

We had an interior cabin, but it was a bit bigger than the rest. The bed was perfect and the bedding felt luxurious.

Ship tip

Do it if you care about food and staff. If you like cruising because of the onboard activities, Azamara is not for you.
