Review summary

The Azamara Onward is a small, but capable ship perfect for our ports of call. We visited ports larger ships could not and enjoyed the beauty and charm of less traveled Croatia. The service and staff were attentive and excellent. The food and beverage were amazing and it was nice not having to provide a key card at bars and restaurants. Onboard entertainment was lacking but the Azamara Azamazing Evening and White Party definitely compensated for shortcomings in other areas.

While much of the embarkation tasks could have been accomplished online, the experience was smooth and fast.

The food and beverages in all areas exceeded my expectations. The unique Chef's Table dinner was one of the best meals I've ever had.

Onboard Activities

Given the time in port, Azamara does not have a robust set of onboard activities. The spa, pool, fitness were very good, but don't expect much in the way of activities.

The band and smaller entertainment venues were very good, but the large shows were just ok.

The ship was small and easy to navigate. All areas were kept clean and tidy.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was comfortable and the bed was awesome. The only downside, was the was small. That said, it was functional and not near as bad as other reports posted.
