Can only describe it as Butlins at sea, Very much a family ship.

Poor experience overall. I wouldn't recommend arvia to others. Really disappointing as we love cruising with P&O.

We enjoyed the cruise,it was a last minute very reasonably priced holiday,In fact it was very cheap! Sadly inside cabins were sold as little as £399 for 2 weeks! P&O struggling with huge staffing issues, cruise was saved by us booking and using the Retreat

Beautiful ship, but some staff are trying to ruin it. Arvia doesn't really know if it's a family ship or not. It's aiming for everyone and missing the basics.

The cruise of disappointments, everything had to be pre booked, sleep non existent, entertainment pathetic, food hit & miss

CABIN REVIEWED IN RELEVANT SECTION Other Aspects (not mentioned elsewhere): Access for wheelchairs around the ship is very good, and a lot of doors are automatic. There are plenty of accessible toilets, and all have automatic doors, the only downside of which is that you have to wait a few seconds for the door to close; if you try and force it shut, it will open again. For most of the cruise, at each bank of lifts, forward, middle and aft, there were at least two out of service, occasionally three or four. I don’t know the reason for that, but it made for some interesting moments when folk would run for them as if their lives depended on it, totally oblivious to waiting wheelchair users and other physically disabled or infirm guests. I had to be vocal with such ignorant folk on several occasions. Arvia is a large ship, with a maximum passenger capacity of about 5200. However, apart from the formal nights when some folk were queuing a long time for the MDRs, it did not feel busy; there were plenty of areas you could escape to. It helped perhaps that the ship was only about 85% capacity for our cruise. Overall, we liked this ship; we have booked two more cruises on it.

From start to finish it was amazing. It’s a new modern ship with new modern ideas and probably not for cruisers who like the old traditions of cruising. We loved the numerous amounts of dining choices and activities. The staff were all fantastic, food was superb and varied. Can’t wait to sail on Arvia again

Loved the new ship, loved the new venues on board. Altitude sky walk was a nice addition along with the crazy golf.

Fabulous ship, great crew - loved everything about ship and cabin - didn’t like dinner at 6th street diner but breakfast there was great

Despite little niggles and a disastrous Christmas Day this was still an excellent cruise on a brand new ship. Great food and great staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

No Christmas atmosphere onboard. Just a ship full of complaining passengers. The crew where amazing
