Overall enjoyed the cruise but we probably will not take ships excursions again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We arrived at our allocated time and checked in went through security and were on board in 10 mins.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We didn't use any specialty restaurants this time. The Main Dining Room and Buffet were great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The only activities we were took part in were the occasional quiz and I joined the passenger choir which was great fun. We rehearsed on sea days for 45 mins and gave a performance on the last sea day a great way to meet people 🤣

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Headliners shows in the Theatre were very good. We also enjoyed Pulse in the Globe.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As always the crew worked extremely hard and were always smiling

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Arcadia is and old ship now and is beginning to show her age. The crew keep her very clean. She has recently had new carpet and furniture in some places and new balcony and deck furniture.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
First time for us in an outside cabin. It was very comfortable .

Ports of call

Killybegs, Ireland

5 out of 5
We did an excursion to Folk village were we also had tea and scones and Irish music. On the way back we stopped off in Killybegs where I tried proper Irish Guinness. Very different to what you get in England much tastier 🤣

Southampton (London), England

5 out of 5
Only embarked and disembarked here

Stornoway, Isle Of Lewis, Hebrides

5 out of 5
We intended to do a good walk around the town but the weather put paid to that. We found a really nice cafe for tea and cake instead.

Greenock (Glasgow), Scotland

4 out of 5
Town is very rundown. We went on a hop on hop off bus which was interesting and learnt a lot about the import of sugar from the West Indies by Tate and Lyle.

Belfast, Northern Ireland

5 out of 5
Really enjoyed this port. We went on the hop on hop off bus. The your guide was very funny and very Informative

Invergordon (Inverness & Loch Ness), Scotland

3 out of 5
The town is very rundown. We did an excursion to Loch Ness. Was very disappointed as we only had 30 mins there. Not nearly enough time.

Holyhead, UK

2 out of 5
We did an excursion to Beaumaris which was again very rushed.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No problems at all. A bit of a wait in the Theatre until we could get off but we found our luggage straight away and a short walk to the car . We were home in just over an hour.

I am sorry to hear things didn't go well as expected. What happened about the excursions being cut short? Glad you had a good time over all.
