Second time on this ship and I loved it much more this time. I thought the ports were good and were interesting.

Ive been on several cruises with Carnival. Decided to try Royal Caribbean. It was a great choice! When I choose again, it will be Royal Caribbean again! Only negative was the food and expenses for food. Buffet closed way to early (9am) Ice cream closed also :(

Excellent vacation, very pleased with this cruise

Anthem is an awesome ship. Beautifully appointed; great crew; superb food. We really enjoyed this ship, probably best of the fleet we have sailed on.

We have been on two prior cruises with Royal Caribbean in 2007. Both were great (food, accommodations, etc.). This cruise was very disappointing. Food quality in the dining room was not very good. Steaks were never cooked correctly. We asked for medium-rare and always received well done!. Service staff was good, but the food is obviously precooked. Bacon was always overcooked and burnt. The windjammer cafe food was also not very good. I guess we were spoiled by the great food years ago on this cruise line.

Purchased the beverage package and was disappointed that the soda machine was down and or out of soda.

Me and my family had a wonderful experience on this ship, my wife said she wants to go back asap and we are looking to book again.

I could not enjoy this trip. Maybe next time. I would travel with women more often because we want the same experience, which is to have fun.

Overall experience was good. I prefer Norwegian however. Royal Caribbean was by far the most expensive cruise I have taken, and did not get more for the money. Also there was a fee for room service, which I did not encounter on Norwegian. Not a huge organized activities person, so by mid cruise, I was pretty bored. Thank goodness for the NBA playoffs. Had a large balcony and the room size was decent, however, the shower is extremely small. I have a small frame and it was a tight space for me. I can't imagine how someone of bigger size managed.

We had a wonderful time! Cruising out of Bayonne was so easy being that we live in NJ. I loved that we sailed one day and then were already in our first port. The only thing that I wish was different is that we had more time in each port. You spend such a short amount of time and are always racing against the clock to get back to the ship. We were so lucky with the weather. We had a great time in Puerto Rico renting electric bikes from La Bodera and a private guide and taking a tour of the beaches and historical sites. We did the catamaran tour in Saint Maarten which was really great! On the boat, the main dining rooms food was okay, but the specialty dining was AMAZING! Chef’s Table was simply the best food I’ve almost ever had

we had a nice time. we wish that they did not charge for every little drink. soda and water should be free.

Enjoyed the cruise and the ship. The food in the "Silk" restaurant was great. We were not satisfied with the "Chops Steak House". The food was not up to the standards expected of a very pricey restaurant. Food was basically the same as the food served in the main, no additional cost restaurants.

Had a wonderful time traveling with adult family members. Spacious ship. Always chairs available. Don’t need to sit right at the pool.

The Cruise was good Over all had A fun vacation. The one thing I would recommend is if you go to Florida I advise booking something in advents because once you get off of the boat it's like a airport you can't go anywhere unless you books something a lot of us went right back on the boat because it was kind of expensive just to go somewhere and there's nothing in walking distance.

We had great time especially it was school vacation week.

I have cruised many times before, and even though the Anthem of the Seas is a great new ship, the following are the reasons why this cruise came very short of being great: 1. Evening shows - mediocre to not existing (We will Rock you was OK, way too long) 2. Evening show was cancelled due to high waves... - the ship was going 21 knots...previously cruised on Norwegian Gem, during the high winds, the captain slowed down the ship to allow shows to commence. 3. Private island was cancelled. Perhaps I do not understand something but I did not find anything wrong with the seas. Speaking with other cruisers, it seems that this island is being cancelled on regular basis. Why have in on the schedule? 4. Food service was very average. Royal Caribbean is known for better than excellent food service, not this cruise... 5. We were docked at Nassau, Bahamas, right next to Norwegian Gem. Coming back from the beach there was a party going on next to their ship, tables with drinks, towels to freshen up after the hot weather, people were dancing....we got to our ship and it was ....nothing...very sad that our awesome and expensive ship can not afford couple of tables outside with few people to make us feel welcome... 6. Entertainment director was not up to par, in my humble opinion. On other cruises, she/he would be the shining light of every event, not this cruise. 7. The most disappointing thing was that my teen son got sick with stomach virus and had to stay in the cabin for a few days. We saw the nurse on board who gave him some anti-nausea meds. We were offered free room service for that day (usually $8) and free movies to watch in the room. This is all good but still the vacation was ruined.

Small inconvenience during our vacation having to call bj's travel to pay gratuities that was included with cruise deal.

Our cruise was wonderful and we recommend the anthem of the seas to everyone.

Good but far from perfect. Three Stars. Needs some improvement.
