The food quality has declined, a lot of pool chairs were torn. Pools and hot tubs need resurfacing. Public areas were clean, except for buffet floors were always disgusting, especially under the tables. Events on calendars often were not even happening and staff seemed to be unaware that there was an event in their venue and would be scrambling to make it happen when people were showing up. so much confusion and disorganization. would never do this cruise again. Pizza place was good and their staff always pleasant. Only place to find food after 11-12. Need more food options late at night.

I feel the RC wants you to buy their drink/soda packages, I am not a drinker nor do I drink soda, so the complimentary drinks were great for me.... however the iced tea and lemonade are not available 24/7, only water (cold drinks) after 9 pm. During the trivia's some of the crew members are hard to understand.

Had a great time. 11 nights can be a long trip for some.

They treat you a lot better if you're a frequent cruiser or have bought a suite, even different dining rooms.

This was the second time on Anthem of the Seas. Great ship; great layout. Staff is very friendly.

The best part of the cruise was just being onboard the ship. Meeting new people was also fun. We are loyal to Royal. Just became Diamonds on this cruise.

My wife's first time and she loved it so much that we booked another cruise for next march 2021

Overall the cruise is overpriced. 12 days only visited 4 ports and PR is wasted time there.

I had not been on a Royal cruise in a long time. I would go on one again. It was very good.

We have enjoyed this cruise for the past five years. It is our wonderful "winter break". Love leaving from NJ because it is within driving distance. The islands visited are beautiful. The vacation is very relaxing and sun. We love the solarium on the ship.

Liked Anthem of the seas, has nice open public spaces, for a holiday cruise it didn't feel as crowded as I imagined. I would recommend it. We were lucky the weather was good since it was December, from what I hear it can get pretty rough going from NJ to FL and back. captain did an amazing job avoiding rough seas though and will change itinerary rather than drive through rougher seas so that was good to know. Coco cay was amazing, worth the cruise just to be able to visit that island! Much more to do on it than Disney's castaway cay, especially for teens. Wish they had a drink package just for wine drinkers that want wine for dinner and after dinner though, drink package too expensive just to have 3-4 glasses in the evening. Cabins were nice, clean, good storage options to put everything away. Eat dinner at main dining room, lunch at cafe 270 for the hot paninis and breakfast at windjammer or solarium. Didnt' bother with the extra cost restaurants since this was our first cruise on anthem, just wanted to get a feel for the food that was included in the price. Maybe next time if we go back on it. Kids loved the ifly and roller skating. Didn't get a chance to do the northstar, got booked up too fast. Skip the escape room, they need to upgrade it and make it more immersive. It looked to be an afterthought adding it in what looked to be a conference room. Didn't do bumper cars so can't say how that was. We also grabbed some slices at Sorrentos, the pizza was pretty good, great for a quick snack. Bingo was fun and so was the trivia games. Crazy quest was wild in 270, very funny. Casino was good, plenty of slots but way too smoky. Wish they had separate area for smokers, it really choked out the non smokers. Or just make it all non smoking. Another weird thing was they allowed the smokers to smoke on one side of the outdoor pool so it wafted over the pool area. And if you were on that side of the ship you had to walk through that area to get to windjammer. It should be in an area that isn't part of the public space in my opinion.

Overall, the cruise was great. Very relaxing especially on the sail days. Coco Cay was fun and had ample space for all the passengers. Not crowded at all. No lines to get food. Lots off activities on the island although mostly I relaxed and stayed in the shade. There were beach wheelchairs available when we arrived at Chill Island. Royal Caribbean lived up to their Perfect Day @ Coco Cay motto. Will take Anthem of the Sea again when I get a chance.

It would be helpful if we had the ability to text the members of our group. We have no other need for the Voom package. We enjoyed and have rebooked for next year

I do feel that the ship could have had more entertainment. The 'fun' stuff like bumper cars and skating is great, but with so many people on the ship, it tends to get crowded. With so many at sea days, there could have been more shows, and better family oriented shows.

This was a very nice trip. First time cruising over New Year's it was wonderful.

Cruise was very relaxing. Anthem is a great ship, very clean with lots to do and great service.

I have taken a cruise on the Anthem of The Seas in the past. I was disappointed that the service, food, and overall experience declined so much within 18 months.

Horrible cruise! NEVER AGAIN will I go on a Royal Caribbean cruise. They are only concerned with draining your pocketbook and promise the world then don't deliver. They did not take my medical dietary needs seriously despite me reiterating to them multiple times how serious they were. They just yes'd me to death saying they would take care of me when the personnel on the ship had no clue how to make me safe food. It was a nightmare. Never again. Ruined my cruise and my Christmas (cruise was over Christmas)...and then to add insult to injury they never responded when I contacted them about my experience. They had my money so they didn't care. I would give a zero review if this would let me. Absolutely horrible.
