Very quick. The roads in to the port is horrible. Traffic was very thick. We left our airport hotel at 9:30am arranged by the hotel. We had 2 subarus and a minivan. $75 for each car. We split it amongst the group of 4/5 in each vehicle. Advice: our boat left on a Thursday. Traffic was still heavy. Plan on at least 20-45 travel time.

Prior to boarding, watch the specials on the Royal Caribbean site for excursions, activities and dining pkg. At times it will read 3 specialty restaurants for $99. That is good but check back the following days or week and it is 3 nights FOR $89. That is what we got. Well worth it! We chose Wonderland, Chops and Jamie's Italian. All fantastic. Windjammer was ok. Needed a bit more seasoning. I figured they were doing low sodium due to traveling and swelling. Who knows!? Hot dog spot by the bumper cars is a great place to snack. Pizzeria was always fresh.
Onboard Activities

Bumper cars were the best thing for me. Try going on the first day when you board when it opens at least 20 minutes prior. The line gets very long. I prebooked We Will Rock You and Spectra Cabaret. It is worth the reservations on your preboarding online. They will not let you in until 15 before the show w/o reservations. By that time, the good seats are gone. I hate that the times overlap with dinner. We had late dining, 8 PM. We simply told our waiter we will be late due to the show and expect us 20 minutes late. It was no problem. Communication is key. Solarium hot tub were good. Some were hotter than others. Wave runner and Ifly was fun also. Cannot emphasize to prebook as soon as you see a time. They go fast. The North Star broke down for us.

All staff were nice, pleasant and informative. Our room attendant Wendell, waiter Pande and Mel were fabulous! I had Mel on Harmony of the seas and we recognized each other right away.

Very good. Size was great for us 2. Plenty of storage for clothes. Put your suitcase under the bed once emptied. Any card fits into the slot to keep the air conditioner running. Since they do not allow irons or steamers. I brought Downy wrinkle release and a hair flat iron. That worked out well to shake a press the hard wrinkles out.
Ship tip
If you purchase the pop/soda drink package, bring a permanent marker, stickers or a label to identify your mug/cup. People were leaving them around losing them. RC will not give you a new one. You MUST PAY.
Traffic was horrible and the police are jerks. There was one line of traffic. They actually blocked it and hed it up to give a man a ticket. No exaggerating, they were city police and had an extremely bad attitude. No help with directing the traffic, just issuing tickets in traffic .
No RC excursion. Purchased my Bermuda Pandora charm for $55 and the shop off the pier. Go early for the taxis on your own. Pack patience. The lines are long but affordable.
Maho airplane experience thru RC. Well worth it. Traffic was bad on the way back to the boat. They plan for it by leaving early enough. If you take your own excursion, RC will NOT WAIT FOR YOU. Plan on the traffic jam.
My 3rd time here. I am just not a fan. We rented a bungalow on special for $500. It was in Christopher Cove all the way at the end. Bar service was good. I broke out in hives. Not sure from what but I just ran back to the boat and medicated myself back to health. In our group, some did jet skis...45 minutes and they said it was too short because the leader kept stopping and talking. Also did the Dragon tail rollercoaster. It was broke down so they automatically refunded my money. Also did the Dragon overhead fly. That was fun!
