Review summary

Good itinerary for a winter break. Could use more activities during the day that doesn't cost.

Well organized. Nice terminal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Regular dining menu variety is getting worse. Seems like they are forcing you to the Specialty restaurants if you want the same food you previously got in the main dining.

Michael's Genuine Pub

3 out of 5

Least amount of beer varieties we have ever seen. Now offers snacks for a fee.

Onboard Activities

Awesome. iFly was fun. Well organized as was the North Star. Sea Plex had plenty to do as well. Solarium was spacious.

Service and Staff

Bartender in Diamond Lounge was hateful. Vocalized several times about having to work the lounge.

Ship Quality

First time on this class but found it easy to navigate. Need to get the touchscreen maps working better. 75% of the ones I tried to use did not work.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was spacious and mostly clean. My husband found somebody else's sock under the bed when he pulled out our luggage. Virtual balcony was a nice touch. It can be shut off so you still have a pitch black room for sleeping. The bathroom has a built in nightlight as well.

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

Spent day before in NYC. Easy train ride from hotel/airport. Drove to port around 930 am. Super easy.

Go to Baccarachina. Birthplace of the pinacolada

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Easy walk from pier to downtown. No need for water taxi. Used the beach out front of Holland Hotel. Two chairs, table, umbrella, clean bathrooms, shower, and four beers was $25.

St. John's, Antigua

Castries, St. Lucia

Decent distance to walk downtown. Dirty... we didn't stop at anything. Turned right around and went back to the ship.

Bridgetown, Barbados

The Boatyard. $5pp taxi to the beach. Welcome drink of your choice, 2 chairs, umbrella, water trampolines/slide, rope to swing out on from the pier. Excursions included a snorkel with the turtles and a shipwreck. Free ride back to the ship. $25 per person. It's where the cruise staff goes!

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Not much to do if you don't get an excursion. Casino has $1 Carib and free wifi.

Disembarkation

Took own luggage to car. Customs uses camera to clear so it is slick. Paid for parking (pretty expensive) and on the road all within 30 minutes.
