This was an amazing itinerary!! Anthem of the Seas is a wonderful ship. The fact that it carries 4000+ passengers and you don't feel like there are that many people on ship as you go through the main areas or to the different activities and shows, etc. We loved our stateroom, the food, the service, the entertainment, the crew. We would definitely book this same itinerary on the Anthem of the Seas again!!

We were checked in and directed to the ship in just a few minutes.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We ate breakfast in Windjammer Buffet. The breakfast options were endless and delicious. Most of the time the time there was a line for the Belgium Waffles and bakery items. We ate dinner in the main dining room at Silk. The food and service were outstanding!! One evening we ate at Chops Grille, which is a specialty restaurant. The food was very good, but not worth the extra cover charge.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We attended alot of activities on the Anthem. Some of our favorites were the Trivia games, Game shows, Evening entertainment, Karaoke, relaxing by the pool or Solarium, attending Art Auctions. There was something for everybody.
Entertainment

We really enjoyed the show "We Will Rock You", The Marriage Game Show, Name That Tune Game Show. There was a magician, a juggler, a couple comediennes. Every show was very good.

Service and Staff

All of the ship's crew went above and beyond to make our cruise special.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was amazing!! It was always clean and well-maintained. The technology used throughout the ship was mind boggling.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We enjoyed our balcony stateroom and took advantage of sitting out on our balcony, especially when we were cruising. Our room was always clean and had plenty of linens. The storage and size of our room was quite acceptable.
Ship tip
Check out to the Day's Events the evening before so you can plan your day. There's so much to do!!
We were very disappointed. We've visited San Juan on a few other cruises and loved it. This visit there were alot of empty store fronts and alot of graffiti. We only walked around a couple of blocks and felt very unsafe. We just turned around and got back on the ship.
Other visits were amazing to St. Maarten. This time we were so tired of being stopped by locals wanting to give us taxi rides or tours. You couldn't walk more than a few feet without someone stopping you. We cut our time here short because of that.
Getting from the ship into the port wasn't bad. But it was a nightmare getting a porter to help with our bags. There was an absolute sea of peop trying to get through customs. Once we got a porter it was a pretty easy time getting through customs.
