This was my 3rd cruise (2nd with RCL) and my wife's first cruise. Even though we knew they had kids areas and programs we opted for just the two of us to go so my wife could experience it fully for her first time. The first night was a little rough do to the nor'easter that had come up the the area. My wife got a little sea sick but after the first night she was fine. The solarium was relaxing and enjoyable. Seaplex was a lot of fun. All of the shows, and the guest entertainment were awesome. The staff were exceptional. A lot of them, knew our names and all of them were friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved Anthem and everything the ship had to offer. By the end of the cruise, my wife fell in love with cruising and wants to go as much as we can. We booked another cruise while on this one. Its a ways away but we are so excited to be bringing our son when we go.

Food and Dining

Food was excellent. We had no bad experiences. My wife, who is somewhat of a picky eater, tried so many different foods and enjoyed just about everything. Chops Grille was amazing!

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service was always exceptional. Staff were always nice and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was clean and well maintained. Loved the layout of the ship and the decor.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was a decent size and never felt cramped. The balcony was a good size.
Shallow water excursion in Atlantis was awesome. The only thing I did not like, was how they funnel you when you got onto the Island. There are so many people haggling and pestering you about taxis, and buying things it got annoying. After you got through that, it was better.
We did the self disembarkation. The first time scheduled for self disembarkation was 645-7am. They didnt start to let self disembarkation off until 715. Was not that long of a wait. This being my first time doing self disembarkaion I wasnt sure what to expect and could have used a little more informaiton.
