Review summary

The cruise, overall experience was decent. It's a large ship, however, I don't feel there are enough rooms to host live entertainment activities. Most of the activities were hosted in the Music Hall, including it being the night club.

Why two stars for Entertainment? I hope not solely because, "I don't feel there are enough rooms to host live entertainment activities. Most of the activities were hosted in the Music Hall, including it being the night club." Did you have problems with specific shows you saw (We Will Rock You, Spectra's Cabaret, The Gift)? Did you find the cruise director to not be very engaging or enjoyable? Was there some particular kind of entertainment you were looking for that wasn't available, like a comedian or particular style of evening entertainment, or different cover band / musical offerings? There is a lot more to the entertainment than just the big productions on the main stage and music hall. There are almost always live musicians in the pub and Schooner Bar every night, and you can often find a Latin-themed band in Boleros. They book comedians, magic acts, ventriloquists, and more; it varies from ship to ship and sailing to sailing, but a lack of entertainment is NOT something I've experienced. There's plenty to enjoy entertainment-wise on any Royal Caribbean ship, so I would genuinely like to know what was so bad about every bit of it that you felt it deserved only two stars, vs. the three stars you gave to all the other aspects (which says you at least found it "good enough").

Great Family Cruise

We had a wonderful and memorable cruise. They definitely made us feel ROYAL! Everyone from our outstanding housekeeper to our dining servers were professional & pleasant. I would highly recommend Royal Caribbean!
