Review summary
Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean All great Company offer us to go on a nice cruise. I have read a ton of complains some fare some a little bit unfair, but all depends on your own expectations and your own investigation(prep) before you booked the cruise. The Anthem of the Seas is not 1 of the bigger Ships of the Royal Caribbean Fleet and that means that need to cut on a ton of things you will see on the Oasis and Quantum class. However the Anthem still managed to have a I-fly, Flowrider, Rock Climing, Seaplex with Bumper Cars, Roller Skating, Trapeze, The Music Hall, Baleros, Schooners Bar, Two70 Theater and so on. The balcony cabin we had was very expensive but spacious with a lot of storage space. However I was an little but surprised just like a lot of others that there was no Deck(white) party on embarkation day or any other sea day! I was missing that a lot, after cruising for over 8 times with Carnival and Norwegian. There still are a few things that could be improved to make the time on the Anthem of the Cruise much better. Smoking area: They Should not be smoking near any of the public areas and the smoking areas shouldn’t have been on the 15th or 16th. It should be far away from any public pass through Areas in and in an open and well ventilated area. Food: For one the food on the main diner and Windjammer was nothing more than normal. Nothing special and not very much an Variety of Foods. I expected way more for the money you pay for this cruise. Maybe you will have a better experience if you eat in one of the paying diners, but I expected more than everyday mash potato carrots broccoli as a side dish. Nothing had something like ““ooh I can’t wait to try that again” everything seemed under seasoned and sometimes tasteless.”: Like someday else had told me and yes I agree with that person. The entertainment where okay some nice than the others like Spectra 1 of the better shows. I know the size of the ships doesn’t help but the they were trying to sell everything anywhere. Every day the nice quieted Promenade was stuck just like a shopping mall and on the TV. Where were the normal TV Channels? A lot of the workers on the cruise ship where very friendly, but a couple of them working the activities where lacking of creating a smile on their face to give us an smile on our faces. For example when we were trying out the rock climbing. And the 1 guys had 1 of the most frumpy face ever and other one only hooked the children and turned his face and keep talking with a couple of girls sitting on the chairs little the small children trying to climbing on/falling off the wall. And Instead of helping the small children with Rock-climbing. We probable not coming back to Royal we paid a lot of money to come to this cruise from Europe to have this experience which not wat we expected, liked and so on.
