Review summary

Would definitely do this cruise again and try different excursions. The Anthem of the Seas is a very nice ship and the staff was excellent, especially our Head Waiter "Iggy" and Assistant Waiter "Andy". Our Cabin Stewart Fadli was the best, going above and beyond.

Our My Time Dining head waiter Ygnacio "Iggy" and assistant waiter Andrii "Andy" were absolutely the best. Always striving to make our dining experience truly special. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship a little hard to navigate through, especially Deck 4, very crowded in the evening trying to get from the theater to the main dining room. Ship was very clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved the cabin. Plenty of room and storage space. The balcony was excellent.

Ship tip

Be prepared to walk a lot. Long distance from theater to main dining areas. Long waiting periods 1st day and last day for the elevators, be patient.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

Port nice, once you get there. Access road route 78 at toll bridge is an absolute MESS.

Boston, Massachusetts

We did the Salem Witch excursion, very nice and excellent tour guide.

Portland, Maine

4 out of 5
Light houses of Maine excursion nice, but only visited 3 lighthouses.

Bar Harbor, Maine

No excursion, just walked the quaint town. Our favorite port.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Port was nice, but WORST excursion ever. We did the Maggie's Cove and Titanic Grave Site. Very long bus ride with lots of traffic to the cove and because of this we were only given 20 minutes versus the 50 minutes in the cove and only 10 minutes at the Titanic grave site. So, so, so disappointing.

Saint John, New Brunswick

4 out of 5
Did not do excursion just walked around the port area, few shops and Farmers Market. Be prepared for steep incline when walking to the shops.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
We waited 1 1/2 hours past our disembarkation time. Long line from the waiting area. Need to work on this area.
