Review summary

This was a great cruise to take grandchildren on. The ship was just the right size not to feel lost and Alaska is an interesting trip to take them on. Our 13year old grandson loved the Hubbard glacier, the rainforest in Sitka and the short stop in Victoria. Sorry we had to misss Ketchikan due to last minute ship itinerary change. Grandson loved the comedians at night. Lots of wholesome family activity—swimming, ping pong etc. good kid food—Mac and cheese, toasted cheese, burgers and fries, spaghetti, pizza— no kid complaints about the food!

Entertainment

The comedians were hilarious, the BBC World Music show was great, the only reason it was not a 5 is because the acoustics were too loud during musical shows. Had to put fingers in your ears so it wouldn’t hurt

Ship Quality

Nice to have a somewhat smaller ship—about 1500 passengers—great for having our grandson aboard

Cabin / Stateroom

Beds were comfortable, loved watching the ocean out the window, more storage than we needed for a one week cruise—plenty of room

Ship tip

Pack less and use the laundry, it’s great

Beautiful walk to town, although we arrived at 7pm and were only there a few hours. Wish we had more time!
