Review summary
First of all, I, have to thank my personal Cruise Consultant, from Holland America, Amanda Peterson. This was our first cruise, and Amanda walked
us through every step, of the way, to booking the cruise, to picking our shore excursions. We called her and bugged her all of the time. Two days, before, our cruise, Amanda called, and asked if we were ready, and if we had any questions, and to say bon voyage. Thank You Amanda.
From getting on the ship, and meetting our Stateroom guys, Jerrol, and Ronald, They were the best. My wife even liked the towel animals, they made, for us every night. We did not eat at the Pinacle, or Cantaleto, but the La fountaine, was great, and all of the matre d's and wait staff, were great. Even at the Lido, the food was great and also all of the staff. Even the burgers, at the Dive in was one of my favorites. Every day, a new
sheet, with the daily itinerary. Dancing with the stars, was fun to watch. Derick the piano player was fun.
Our whale watch, with Jeff and Dave, was a blast, in Juneau. Our time in Sitka was fun. Our Zipline in Ketchikan, was the best also. Iris, was the best, She was from around our hometown, in upstate,NY. Thank You Iris. Our walk around Victoria, also was great. Once it was time to leave, it
was hard to say goodbye. All in all, our first cruise was one of our best times together.
The only down side to our cruise, besides leaving,
"Was the manager, of the Greenhouse Spa and Salon, was not really a very nice person. Not too friendly at all.
