Lackluster by kerrihiggs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas

The food was not great, just okay. Not all of the pools were open making it even more difficult to find a chair. Overall did not live up to the hype. Disappointed. Unlikely to cruise with RC again

Do you have a reservation? by BBLWOG

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Allure of the Seas

I enjoyed the cruise, but overall, for me, the ship is too large carrying too many people. That's just my opinion.

Memorial Cruise by Mizsa55y72

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas

This was a memorial cruise. Last June we cruised the Liberty out of Galveston with my husband. Who knew that 6 weeks after we got home he would pass away from cancer. This was a bittersweet cruise. We took the Allure in 2019 out of Fort Lauderdale for my son's graduation. Made new memories and my late husband was with us in spirit.

RCCL Allure Cruise Wonderland by Bymyself

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Allure of the Seas

The 7-night Western Caribbean cruise is a good choice to get away and not feel like I had to get off the ship at every stop. Roatan was new for me and I booked an excursion with monkeys, sloths and iguanas. Got to hold the sloth which was a highlight for me. Cozumel is great for tequila. Did not disembark at Costa Maya as our time was cut short.

Great Caribbean getaway by Caribbeanvacay

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas

We ate at the main diner with Sukanta and his assistant Yuqi every night for dinner. They were amazing!! So accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and left full and happy. By the second night they were bringing out the kids food as we sat down.

Good cruise, but too hot by ronaldw4888990

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas

Other than the food we enjoyed the cruise. We hope that the shortage of kosher meals is a one time thing. I would advise to go earlier in the season when it is not so hot.

Cruise experience by korigould

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas

Overall the time on the ship was good. We wish we had some notice on the splashpad closure so we could prepare other activities ahead of time. We were also upset that our room was twice as expensive as others in our party who booked at the exact same time as us. Our kids were supposed to sail free but we don't think that actually happened as we were under the impression we were getting a much larger room than the others in our party. There was also a mishap with our room assignments from the very beginning. was not interested in correcting their mistake which was very disappointing. We will not be booking through again.

We made it fun....they need singles pricing and more time in Cista Maya. Service was great but all cruise lines should pay the crew a decent wage instead of forcing them to live off tips. Quality of food on RC has gone down significantly by jharding17

All cruise lines should pay their staff a decent wage so they don't have to beg for tips. Quality of food on RC has gone down. They cut our time in Costa Maya.

Relaxing Caribbean Cruise by CDRK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas

Allure of the Seas is a huge ship - not really our preference. If you want an all inclusive vacation to relax and party, this is a good ship. Not really for people who want to experience cultural sites and get an educational experience. Great for a family vacation with kids.

Great shows but too big a ship to go again. Adult area is too small for the large number of people. by mazalidia

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas

We will never again cruise on a ship this big. We rather spend more money and get a relaxing and fun cruise aiming to please adults instead of families with children.

This was our first cruise after Covid. Prior to this cruise RCCL was our favorite cruise line and we never had to stand in so many lines. Not sure we will cruise RCCL again.

Exciting Caribbean Cruise by shidezhang

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas

A little disappointed that we were not able to book the Xenses Park Excursion simply because age restriction of 65. I understand that there are some activities in Xenses Park require certain level of physical strength, and your concerns do have some merit but all these activities are optional and we are only interested in the visual / optical illusion part of this Park. I did contact the Excursion department requesting to lift the age restriction but was not successful. While on the ship, we participated Zipline, Rock Climbing and Wavesurf activity without anyone questioning our age, so I don't understand why we can't book Xenses Park from the Cruise. While I was able to purchase Park Admission directly from the Park(there is no age restriction from the Park side), but I will have to arrange the ferry ride and ground transportation, etc. And I was a little too lazy to do that, so we had to give up the Cozumel tour. I really hope that Royal Caribbean review this age restriction and revise if they see fit. Overall this was exciting cruise and I'm very much enjoyed (I especially enjoyed the BOSS Underwater Adventure excursions!)
