Really other than the room not being cooled to use the balcony like we like to use or have the curtains open to view the open waters, that was our only complaint. But for use this was a huge negative, because we always use our balcony, and could not. And yes, the door was closed and lock 99.9% of the trip, along with the curtain. It was a lot of extra money spent that could have been used elsewhere.

Not a lot of space on the pool deck to have much activities. Huge ship cut into small chunks scattered around the ship.

The shows we got to see were great. dislike you have to signup a month and half early to watch them.

beautiful ship, and love the size that make smooth sailings but going forward we'll stick with non Oasis class ships. The size is great but everything is cut into small pieces. So far we prefer the Freedom and Voyager class. We still need to try the Quantum class.

we couldn't open the curtains in our room without the room over heating let alone use the balcony that we have loved to use so much in the past. Had them come to the room and look at it twice and was told it was my small fan that I use every cruise that was heating the room. My parents room was the same way and they were on the other side of the ship. complete disappointment. guess the ships just really needs updated.
Ship tip
Beautiful ship, It's huge take lots of pics, and a good pair of shoes. We were with older faimly and didn't walk around much but still ended up walking over 10,000 steps a day, it helps work off all the food/drinks!
It was alright for such a huge new port, (great by the way) it took us a good while to get off the ship for some reason. Usually we get hung up in the terminal's itself not the ship side. Customs was a piece of cake, super easy.
On the newer ships they have a slot where you have to put your card to activate the lights and air conditioning in the room. I try to find a generic old credit card and stick it in the slot when I leave the room with my cruise card, that way the air conditioning will keep running while I'm not in the room
