Review summary

Overall, this ship has been one of the best we’ve been on there were a few downsides, but the ship is nice and it’s worth it especially if you have a big group of Family. We went for a graduation cruise and the graduates and their families enjoyed it so in my mind, it was a 10 out of 10.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It went really smooth and fast, there wasn’t a wait for us!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining was a 10/10 and the buffets like the windjammer was amazing! We had the dinner package and ate at 3 specialty restaurants Chops Grill and Giovanni’s was out of this world the food and service were so wonderful! On the other hand Sabor Mexican restaurant essentially the best. Our wait was long ( people got there after us and got done way before us) the food was okay it essentially anything to die for. But other than that the good and services of staff was so amazing!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The on board activities were okay. Zip lining was amazing would definitely recommend However, Rockwall climbing when we went to do it, they had a long long line and was only using one Rockwall. Nothing else was open and people who didn’t have the right clothing on was waiting in the line and no one was coming back there to tell them they need to leave to change. It was sad for us who is following the rules and knowing it would take a long time for us to get there, which was kind of disappointing so we left. The pools were amazing! The only issue we had, but it wasn’t nothing terrible, was when someone had an accident in the pool and they didn’t clean the pool and try to open it up the same day it was closed all day. The fitness center was amazing. Just really busy. The ice-skating was very unorganized and hard to sign your kid up and sign waivers to get your kid on the ice. Ince they were only the ice, the person watching, wasn’t telling kids who were roughhousing and knocking people over to stop or get off the ice for a minute.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The musicians and entertainers were amazing. The Mamma Mia show was 10 out of 10 we didn’t really like the blue planet show it just wasn’t our thing. To me, the aqua show was amazing. I would definitely watch it again.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My sister went into it and she loved the teen thing she thought it was amazing and she met some of her best friends in there.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waiters, staff, room steward, and other ship personnel was out of this world. Everyone was so kind and constantly checking in on you.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very well clean and the layout was nice you can steal it’s an older ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was always clean. It was a nice room. It was small specially when you have a big family but the large balcony makes it better.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
The terminal was really nice and super quick and easy

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
We just stay in the ports and looked at shops. There wasn’t much to it.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
The port was good but we bypassed it and went somewhere farther on the island

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Getting off, the ship was very hard. Their system was very chaotic and felt unorganized but once you get off the ship, it was really easy.
