Review summary

I would not sail on a ship this large again. Too many crowds and long lines at restaurants. The excursions were booked through and I would never do that again. The excursions were far away from the ship (approx 1 to 2 miles of walking). There were only 2 people on the excursion both times. There was way too much walking on these excursions for a 66 and 73 year old. It was exhausting. Then when excursion was over we had to take a ferry, a cab and a tram back in addition to walking another mile. Never again will I book though the travel agency. I also booked my transfer to the ship from Ft. Lauderdal airport. I paid for this transfer . When I got to the airport there was no transfer. The company who was in charge of transferring the passenger to the ship was not advised of our transfer. They did not have our name on there list. I had to pay for a cab to get to the ship. I called both and Royal Caribbean and both told me to call the other for a refund. Never again.

The shows were limited. The comedy show was good but repeated 4 times. The show Mama Mia was repeated 4 times and the Aqua Show was repeated 3 times. It was difficult to get into all of these shows because the show was so full

We love the mega ships with Royal Caribbean…you do have to plan in advance on those ships for the shows verses being on the smaller ships.

We never use a travel agent for bookings. It eliminates finger pointing.

Perhaps you could do better if you did a little research before booking your cruise

Perhaps you're better off trying a smaller ship if you still want to sell otherwise try a land vacation

Thanks for the review. I’m confused about excursions being far away from the ship and requiring 1 to 2 miles of walking. Was that to meet the transportation to the excursion or where the excursion went? Also, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anyone complain that they were too few people on an excursion. Most of the time people complain they are overcrowded.
