A vacation needed and Royal did not disappoint. I would most likely choose these ports again and look for other excursions to do. The islands are beautiful.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
If you want to social distance this is not for you. Took us about an hour to get through and on the ship, however we were in line everyone else waiting to get their vacation started.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Skipped the main dining room a couple of nights because we did not like what was being served and ate late in the day anyways. The wait staff is amazing as usual.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Lots of trivia going on, had a blast with those. The whirlpools were just right for me, not too hot and not too cold. We did notice teams emptying the whirlpools and adding in new water several times. The pool was nice and refreshing.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Mama Mia was awesome, be sure to make your reservation! We were able to watch the Aqua show from our balcony, so no reservation was needed for that
Children's Programs
No young kids
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our wait staff in the main dining room were awesome! They had our drinks ready for us, until we, or I would change it for them. They are so happy to be back serving again.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This ship is big, but I have only been on one other cruise and that was on Adventure. Late at night the whole ship was cleaned up anywhere they thought a cruiser touched. (Yes, in the casino a little late :))
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The size is your typical cabin size, small. But you are only there to sleep anyways. Our steward kept the room tidy, he even folded my clothes left on the couch!
Bought the pass for the beach club. It was nice, but the island has so much to offer. I would save my money the next time. However, you do need to get the Coco Loco they talk about. You can get it on the ship as well.
Took the water taxi from the port pier to the beach. Relaxing all day on the beach. They even had chairs and umbrellas to rent. But be ready for the sales people trying to make a living.
