Loved the cruise, but it wasn't what we booked originally. We only went to one port (St. Maarten) that we had planned on originally. That was disappointing, but it still was a great cruise. Royal Caribbean always does a first class cruise even though it wasn't what we had booked. Looking forward to my next cruise on Royal Caribbean.
Embarkation

Was very quick, even though the were checking more thoroughly because of coronavirus
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food in the main dining room was excellent and always had plenty. Would always order a dish or two for our table of eight. Roast beef sandwiches at the Park Cafe were as good as always. Some in our group had salads there and were very pleased. The Wipeout Cafe on deck 15 had very good made to order omelettes. It was an out of the way place that was never crowded.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Played pickle ball in the morning on the sport court. It was a lot of fun. The only thing you need to be careful of is the dampness on the sport court if there is any, makes it very slippery.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Shows were outstanding from Mama Mia to Blue Planet, the comedians. The only entertainer that was a bit below average was the piano singer in the Schooner bar. Usually there's a very good singer there, but this time it wasn't great.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All staff was extremely friendly and did an awesome job! They always were making sure you were enjoying yourself, and taking care of anything you needed.
Ship Quality

Always love the Oasis class. The Allure is going to get amplified soon which will make it even better. The ship looked great even though it's been around for 10 years.
Cabin / Stateroom

It's a typical balcony room. The only thing it need more are electrical plugs near the bed for any devices you may have. They have some by the mirror at the table which do come in handed. If you have a cpap make sure you have an extension cord. Had plenty of room for clothes and good space under the bed for bags.
Ship tip
Even though there are 6000+ passengers they do a good job of making the ship not feel crowded for the most part. The only issue was getting a chair by the pool, or solarium on sea days. People seem to hold chais by putting towels on them very early even though you're not supposed to do that. Chairs do start opening up around 3pm, you have to get very lucky to get one before that unless you go up early. There are other places to sit on the deck, just not by the pool.
Always like cruising out of Port Everglades. Being close to the airport makes it easy to get an early flight if you need. I believe you can make a 10am flight if you needed to, definitely 11am. You would just need to be one of the first ones off, and carry your bags off.
Always like St. Maarten. I enjoy the shops right off the ship. This year we took a water taxi to a beach. Had someone get us some chairs (for a fee) and also would get us drinks if we needed. It was very reasonable. Spent about five hours there. The beach was not over crowded. Definitely would do this again.
Had very little time there. We didn't get off the ship. A lot of people did the same. Pools, and solarium were crowded, which isn't typical when you're in a port. When we booked the cruise this stop was supposed to be St. Thomas. We were disappointed we didn't go there. Not exactly sure why they made that change.
We went to Labaddee instead. The captain came over the speaker system on Tuesday saying the weather the day we're supposed to be at Coco Cay was going to be bad, so he made the decision to go to Labaddee instead. Labaddee was very nice, alsways enjoy going there, but was really looking forward to Coco Cay and all the new things that they have there.
Glad you had a great time! I love the Allure she's our 1st ever cruise (Jan-2020). We also enjoyed the ship and her crew. We didn't make it to Coco Cay either but luckily we visited Labadee instead. I know exactly how you feel about being disappointed. I guess that just means we have to book another cruise. 😉
