Review summary

Our trip was excellent on all facets. Cruising is such a cool thing to do with the ports of call, the on board activities, the pools and most importantly, the food! The wind and seas were particularly rough on the way to St. Marten and those same seas/wind ended up redirecting our itinerary to Labadee Haiti instead of CoCo Cay! This was a bummer as we really wanted to visit CoCo Cay! Other than that, this was another successful and memorable trip for us!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Using Royal’s app, we pre-registered and that made it so simple and easy! We were on the ship from front door in less than 5 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was all good from the Windjammer Buffet to the Main Dining Room selections to the specialty restaurants. The specialty restaurants were a new option to us and boy, they did not disappoint! For the prices at the 3 we tried, we got some memorable food and were stuffed each time. Excellent service at each as well.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
If you are board on this size of ship, you mist be a boring person. There is activity for any age group and any type of interest. There is always something going on on this ship!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
They shows were funny, entertaining and plentiful. Music was always top notch. We didn’t get a chance to see the musical or water show but was told they were very good!

Children's Programs

No children with us on this trip.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was always friendly and smiling. I felt everyone was happy to provide a pleasurable experience to the guests!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It is set up very well and after embarking, you’ve got time to explore and figure out the lay of the ship pretty easily!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room is clean and balcony perfect for morning ocean gazing!

Ship tip

Expect a very large ship with lots to do! It is a jewel within this fleet.

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Beautiful port that is clean. Good options within the port. The country is quaint and beautiful. The waters/beachfront are awesome!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
I was surprised that I liked it as much as I did. Very historical area. Didn’t have a full day to truly explore though!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It couldn’t have been any easier. We did self checkout due to an early flight out of Ft. Lauderdale. It was super simple. Lines were not long yet due to time of morning.
