Review summary

Overall the pros outweighed the cons. Primarily due to the world class service consistently provided by the staff

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and easy. A little bit of an uphill walk but no rush no fuss.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food absolutely blew my mind. I expected it to be good but never did I think it would be phenomenal. Authentic true to life Caribbean cuisine cooked with love was readily available at the Windjammer buffet. I've been to resorts across Jamaica that don't cook half as good as the chefs at the Windjammer. The specialty restaurants and main dining are also great. Best thing going is the three night specialty restaurants pass that not only gives you three nights of specialty dining (Chops Grille is life by the way) but you also can have lunch at any specialty restaurant on sail days as well (I loved Johnny Rockets)

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was never a shortage of things to do onboard from miniature golf to bingo to the casino to the arcade to catching a show. You name it and depending on your mood, there's was something to do

Service and Staff

Jack who was our room attendant left no stone unturned. He provided world class service consistently with grace and a smile. May he be blessed in life forever.

Cabin / Stateroom

Absolutely Amazing. Only thing left to even speak of improving is the tiny shower size 🤷🏿‍♂️

Ship tip

Know yourself and how much you'll realistically drink on your trip. If you're looking to be fall down inebriated the entire trip then the deluxe drink package is for you. Keep in mind you must wait five to fifteen minutes in between drinks (this is what they don't tell you in the fine print).

Ports of call

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

2 out of 5
This place definitely needs to be thought through thoroughly again as its boring and unentertaining

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Camp Rico ATV Tour was indescribable. Amazing

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
Emerald Beach Club was sub par

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Disembarkation

The process was seamless and pleasant. Mostly a downhill trod. Sorry for the birth certificate folks but 🤷🏿‍♂️

My family and I are booked to sail on Allure of the Seas at the end of the year. Your review has added to the "can't wait!" feeling. Lol. Especially excited about tasting the authentic Caribbean cuisine as we are from Barbados.

Awesome review! Allure was my first cruise and I had a great time also.

I disagree with your review on coco cay. I have been there several times. I think Royal Caribbean did a great job developing coco cay.
