Review summary

The travel agent, Mark, was great, he is the sweetest guy. Fabricio the attendant to our room was amazing. I did have fun overall, but the ship was way too large for me to run from one side to the other side and we missed some shows. I think I will stick to a smaller boat.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It was busy, but the people was nice in the beginning.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
It was good selection of food.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I wished it had the water slide which was what I thought this ship had. I liked the zip line and rock climbing was ok. I didn't have time to try the surfing.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I did like the shows. I think the family comedy was super boring. But Mama Mia was for me great. I loved the battle of the sexes and the other show after it "Quest".

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
My son needed me always to sign a waiver every time which he missed most of the programs. I didn't like it. I wished he was able to go to them without my signature. I thought a presignature waiver should have been done one time and just get it over with.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Fabricio was excellent. There were some folks there as well that was nice.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I really did not like Nassau Bahamas at all. I wished that the ship sailed to Roatan Honduras instead. I booked for the Honduras experience not for Nassau.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
It was fine. I felt a bit confined with the sofa bed opened and it was hard moving around the cabin. I felt very claustrophobic at night. Which in the morning I had to close the sofa bed myself to be able to breathe.

Ship tip

Please keep your luggage close to you at the end. They rob luggages at the ports.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

2 out of 5
I really think that this port was ugly and that it was a hot mess. Too many people bumping into each other. I felt as I was in Manhattan NY subway system. Keeping my bags attached to me before I get pick pocketed.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

3 out of 5
It's nice, there was too much talk about how fantastic it is. But I didn't see the great whoop about this island. It was ok.

Nassau, Bahamas

1 out of 5
I hated it.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
I liked it.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
It was nice, just the ruins was over an hour drive to get to. That I didn't really like.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
OMG, this was the worst experience I have ever encountered. Everyone there was so miserable and nasty attitude. I was shocked at how mean these workers are. And where my luggage was located, why do you put a tag on it and when I go downstairs anyone could have stolen our luggage. I heard many commotions how others had their luggage stolen. I will not go back to this port ever again. This is on my list of place to never go back to again.

We have never had problems at ft Lauderdale. Very easy on and off. Never seen anyone complaining about bags being stolen.

We’ve been on 10 cruises and never had luggage stolen, We were on the Allure in November and embarkation and disembarkation were wonderful. Walked on and off. No lines at all. The easiest we have ever gotten off due to the fact we didn’t have to go through customs because we missed our lady port. It was wonderful. We had no problems being on time for the shows. We found easier ways to get to places other than walking the length of hallways.

Sounds like this was your first cruise. The Next Cruise Staff are not travel agents. The luggage it done that way by customs and border patrol. You are always welcome to purchase THE KEY and get VIP treatment or stay in a suite. NEWS FLASH! CRUISE CABINS ARE TINY. Put more than 2 people in one and it is cramped unless you get a suite.

We always do self debarkation and take our own luggage off. First group off, no lines at customs and no issue with someone stealing it.
