Review summary

This ship and those in its class are top of the line. The windjammer is second to none! The ship has approximately 4-5 thousand passengers but never feels crowded. Embarkation was fast and smooth.

Going on the allure in Aug 2019 would this be a Good time ?

The Windjammer on Allure is definitely top rate for selection and service but remember that on embarkation day and some other peak times it can be so crowded that you might want to pick some of those other spots like the Park Cafe for sandwiches, soup and salads or the Solarium Bistro for a good selection of hot foods, fruit, salads, and desserts.

The difference is : on the Allure you have 5000 passengers and 2000 people working for you. On same size ships from MSC for example there are only 1400 people working. That's the difference!!!

I've been there and come back in November. Love it.

Oasis class actually carry 5,000 to 6,000 passengers! And they are the least crowded ships I’ve been on.

Loved the Allure. There are so many places and spaces to get lost in that is why it doesn’t feel real crowded.
