Review summary

The cruise overall was great! No complaints about the cruise itself. Just a few cons: -Lack of shade by the pool. It would be nice if they had parasols. -Everything is too catered the US clientele. Prices for drinks etc are not very friendly for Canadian guests. $4.20 USD for a can of Coke, really? -The professional photographers are not very good. They'd take a bunch of photos, say that they're great then when you go to the photo shop to look at them, our eyes were closed or the photo was taken mid-pose /smile so they just looked gross. Also, too much use to flash making everything look awful. -The "shopping expert show" was very sexist towards men.. and was pretty useless for people uninterested in high end jewelry.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The lineup at the terminal was a little long but the check-in and embarkation process was very simple.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was fantastic, drinks however are a little overpriced considering everything is in US dollars (we're Canadian). Mostly drank water through out the day.

Great water pressure in the shower. Bed was big and comfy. TV worked fine. Balcony was lovely. Room was clean and tidy. No complaints here.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

We flew in the same day as the cruise

Nassau, Bahamas

If you're not on an excursion or going to the beach, the area near the ship is pretty lame. Just souvenir shops and American Chucky Cheese style restaurants.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

We didn't do any excursions, just walked around. It was a nice and cute place but too many similar high end jewelry stores. If you're into diamonds and precious stones, this port is for you.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

There was a great cigar shop in the main shopping area. The locals were nice.

After getting off the ship and clearing customs, they longer care about you. We exited the terminal at around 9am, we prepaid for airport transfers so we're trying to figure out where we need to catch this bus. Our flight was at 1pm. It wasn't clear where to go and there were people all over the place, it was a zoo. I finally found someone in uniform and he instructed to stand at this sign and our bus will arrive shortly. Okay, so 9:15am we stand there. 9:45 comes and still no bus so I went back to the desk and they told me it was only coming at 10:30. I started to get nervous because it's a 45 minute ride to Miami airport and the Canadian government stresses to be at the airport 2hrs prior to departure. We were better off just taking a taxi ourselves rather than being at the mercy of this bus schedule. I gave my flight time to the cruise line weeks before the cruising date so I don't understand why they had to stress us out with this.
