Review summary

I definitely will cruise again on Allure.  Entertainment was top notch.  Service was great with friendly, pleasing staff.  A wide array of restaurants and bars.  Night life was always hopping!  My only disappointment was the quality of the food.  It was tasteless, repetitive, and never hot.  The only cruise I ever took and loss 2 lbs.  Dispite the food I would highly recommend the Royal Caribbean, Allure of the Seas.  Great solarium and hot tubs.

Ship tip

The entertainment and night life is outstanding. Don't plan on getting much sleep and bring comfortable shoes.

Is there a night club on the ship? I'm going on in 14 days and I've heard good things about night life but whats it consist of doing

I was on the Allure in January. The food was hot and fresh and delicious! There was also a lot of variety. I can't imagine how it went so downhill in 3 months! The only thing we did not like was the food and service at Giovanni's for our free lunch that came with the Central Park balcony package. It was limited to 2 not-so-good entrees and we were ignored like we weren't even there.

I thought food was fine. I went in feb. WJ was a bit repetitive but that OK with me.

going on the allure in 5 days..food cant be worse than carnival..rather fast food..was always happy with royal Caribbeans food on all thier ships.everything cant be perfect but still way better than carnival anyday

Maybe they purposely downgraded the food so we would spend the extra $$ in the specialty restaurants. It all about the profits for them. For us cruisers, good food as well as fun memories for us

Most ships now have specialty dining that costs extra. That is where you can find great food.

I honestly have to say since our first cruise in 2009 till now the food had gone drastically downhill; but we still love to cruise.
