Review summary
Two reasons that you must buy the specialty restaurant package, one when you but 5 dinners it's under $25 per person. Reason two the food and service in the main dining room is not near what I had come to expect from Royal Caribbean, while the service was friendly it seemed that the servers couldn't keep up with the number of tables they had, I couldn't tell the waiter from the assistant. My prime rib was served well done when I had ordered it medium rare. The specialty restaurants on the other hand were run like a fine restaurant, great service even better food and the portions were amazing. The difference between the two venues was like the difference between a chain restaurant and a top of the line fine dining restaurant, much more valuable than the $25 fee of the package in fact the normal $30 to $45 fee was a bargain if you enjoy eating.

Ship tip
Make sure you try Central Park 150 for dinner. If you enjoy wine Vintages is a great spot to visit, they will give you a taste of wine before you purchase it so you always know you are getting something you like.
