Review summary
we did a back to back cruise 11/6 until 11/20. please inform everyone in the future that the only news on your ship is CNN. during the election vote counting, we couldn't even get CNN. Amazingly, the 2 channels of ESPN came in clearly. we are Americans, and we find that CNN is the worst channel for news. it is biased and it incites people to do violence. in the future, let us know what news channels you offer.
we are now diamond level, and we have been on multiple cruises over the years. everyone we spoke to agreed that the food quality and options have declined. Our waiters and room staff were excellent-although you could use some new vacuums and curtains.

Ship tip
the food is ok, not what it used to be. we loved the salad bar during sail days. if you are doing a back to back, the food on Monday is the same as the following Monday. entertainment is great!

It is unfortunate that all or most of the cruise lines have lowered some of the quality and experience levels from the past. While not an excuse, we have seen this on airlines as well as cruise lines. That said, we feel RCCL is doing a good job at preserving a great, by contemporary standards, service experience with entertainment and food that keep us coming back for more cruises. That said, we reserve the right to switch cruise lines if the total experience becomes mediocre. We are not hesitant to vote with our feet and with forums like Cruiseline.com.
