Review summary

We are first time cruisers, took our 18 year girls for their senior trip,  You will not find better service than Royal Caribbean staff and always with a smile.  So much to so and see and clean accomdations to boot.  We had help from Shevon to plan our excursions and answer any questions anytime, that made our vacation less stressful for sure.  We have many treasured memories from this trip!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

My time dining outstanding service Slava/Hector were AMAZING and made us feel special with every meal! The manager took care of our gluten free 18 year each meal as well. Always looked forward to this after a long day!

Entertainment

Great, would have liked a meet and greet for our 18 years olds, nothing really tailored to their age group, and that was the purpose of this trip, by the time they met some kids their age it was the last few days. Game shows fun, comedy great, Blue Planet cool, ice skating, all fun, we missed Ocean Aria due to rough seas, rescheduled but we had our awful Jamaica excursion and could not attend.

Children's Programs

Did not participate, but saw many wonderful activities for the kids and her passengers talk about these.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

We probably we spoiled on our first cruise, the Allure was clean and well maintained!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our quarters were comfy and cozy, we were well tended to by our stateroom I Wayan! THe bed was super comfy and we loved the 8th floor location. We were well supplied with towels, etc. It would have been nice to have water in the room from our beverage package each day before our excursion and towels. LOVED coming home to the towel animals, what a treat!

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Get in the coffee line at Starbucks right away, it gets busy quickly and the airport is friendly but small, get their early to check in, especially on spring break!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Beautiful beach, clean, helpful to get chairs placed, the kids did the zip line and loved it. A great location with many things to do, wished the gift shop was closer to the beach or on the way back to the boat.

Falmouth, Jamaica

Did not love the Bamboo Beach experience! Try something else.

Cozumel, Mexico

Loved the shopping, swam with the dolphins, food not the best, promised snorkeling, but really not enough time, loved the dophins experience, photos expensive, advice have someone in your party take pictures that is not participating. $75 for three photos, video even more expensive. Lucy gave us great stores to visit, and maximize our time in Cozumel, a staff member told us about a great little eatery in town to eat. It was AMAZING!
