Fantastic Cruise

Sail Date: February 01, 2015

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We had a great time on our cruise and this is the second time we have been on the Allure and we have also gone on the Oasis twice.  They are wonderful ships with plenty to do and excellent shows and food.  The cleanliness of the ship was remarkable as the staff were constantly cleaning the tables and chairs and railings.  Hand sanitizer was available at all restaurants and this is the best way to keep germs down. Everything was organized very well.  The excursions that we took were very good and worth the price.  We did a dolphin encounter in Nassau and a tour of both the Dutch and French sides of St. Maarten which included a boat ride and bus.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
excellent food with good choices and the dining staff were very efficient and pleasant.
Service and Staff
Our waiters Edwin and and Dusan were excellent as was Samuel Guilborth our statement attendant and Guillermo Capillo who worked in the cafe in the promenade.
The shows are excellent and included ice show, aqua show, Chicago, comedy and headliner that was Beatle impersonators and a musical production.
Children's Programs not applicable
Onboard Activities
There was something to do all day and evening.
Destinations and Excursions
Beautiful ports with beautiful weather. Excursions we took were well worth the price. Dolphin encounter in Nassau and tour by bus and boat of St. Maarten.
Cabin / Stateroom
We enjoyed our cabin overlooking the park and could sit on the balcony and listen to the music in the park each night. It was also not far from the elevator and easy to get to other places on the ship.
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Hotel Ramada was close to the port and have a shuttle service.
Nassau, Bahamas
Dolphin encounter was excellent
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
We actually stayed on the ship as we had been here several times before.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Tour of island and harbour was excellent.

We enjoyed having breakfast in different areas of the ship and they included the solarium, Windjammer, the café in Central Park and the dining room. We enjoyed lunch in the café in the promenade as they had delicious sandwiches. Sorentos was good if you wanted pizza.
