Fabulous Cruise

Sail Date: January 11, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Recently sailed on the Allure. What a beautiful ship, excellent service, entertainment and food.  Can't say anything bad about the ship. While there may be 6,000 passengers I never had to wait, didn't even have any trouble getting a lounge chair by the pool. Very well managed.

Ship Quality
Beautifully appointed ship
Food and Dining Food was very good. Went to one specialty restaurant, Giavanni's... Was excellent.
Service and Staff
Staff went out of their way to be accommodating.
Entertainment
Shows were outstanding
Onboard Activities
Plenty to do on the ship for all ages
Destinations and Excursions
Love their private island, Labadee. Did the dolphin encounter at the national park...wonderful experience and nice park. Not too crazy about Jamaica.
Cabin / Stateroom
Had a balcony cabin. When you first enter you wonder where you'll put everything but once unpacked it's amazing how you find a place for all your clothes
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
We came down to Florida a few days ahead of time and stayed in Boca Raton
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
Always enjoy RCCL's private island. Love the beach there and usually rent a float as the water is so calm.
Falmouth, Jamaica
Not my favorite port. All we did was visit the shops right off the ship
Cozumel, Mexico
Did the dolphin encounter at the national park. Wonderful experience, very nice park

Tip

We pre-booked all the shows and took the early seating for dinner which worked out well for us. I don't think it's necessary to pre-book excursions...I have travelled on over 20 cruises and never had a problem getting an excursion.
