A: when we were on the Allure a few years ago, you had to make a reservarion for the shows or you did not get in. we had to do it once onboard, that may have changed. Download the app for sure.

A: I am going on my cruise July 16 they opened up reservations for show’s June 1 , 2023 I was not able to get one reservation every show was sold out I am so upset.

A: I was on Allure in January and was able to make reservations starting in October. Make sure to start checking your app and once available you will start seeing the option to reserve. A: You won’t be able to make show reservations until closer to sail date. I’d check the app periodically to see when they show up in the cruise planner to make reservations as early as possible. So that you don’t miss out on the day and time most conven... ient for you. I believe you can make dining reservations as soon as you book your cruise. If you have my time dining, go ahead and make those reservations in the app now. Those too fill up quickly.See More

A: Personally I would only purchase excursions locally after I’ve already been to that place via ship’s excursion and felt comfortable venturing out on my own to that same place. Some of them are pretty far away. I wouldn’t want to risk not being able t... o get back to the ship on time. The ship’s excursions will ensure that you will return on time every time. A: We have taken cruises the last week of February at least 6 times to the Caribbean. (It is the week my husband has off work every year.) We have needed long pants and sweatshirts one cruise most days and sweatshirts/light jackets on another one. We ha... ve found the ocean to be cooler that time of year as well. We tend to stick to the pools or short ocean swims. We swam with the dolphins once with the kids (and froze). We were also chilly when we tried to snorkel. A: They are not required for US based cruises and most people don’t wear them. I also find it hard to believe anyone was “escorted off” of the Allure due to illness. Like Texas would enforce such a thing when even the CDC doesn’t.

A: we are just off The Allure... we wore masks especially in the elevators and other close encounters.. a 100 or so guests were escorted off with either the flu or covid... the sailing before us had a lot of sickness also... 😷

A: If you have the Royal Caribbean app you can check out things on the ship. One of the items is Dining. From there, you can look at the menus to see when lobster night is. By the way, you can pay an addition fee and get lobster anytime you want.

A: Yes there are gluten free options everywhere. The buffet had a separate section with options. There were bagels for breakfast at park Cafe. Pizza was available at Sorrento's. And I ate very well in the dining room.

A: The running track is on deck 5. But maybe they are thinking of the sun deck which is at the front of the ship. That might be deck 8?. When I was on the ship in September, while the sun deck was open all the loungers were stacked and tied up. A: We did. Long ride, but I was either asleep or looking out windows. To go underground to swim was amazing compared to seeing on tv. Chichen itza was something I Will remember and now want to see the other wonders of the world.

A: Exactly as it sounds for the MDR. "My Time Dining" you reserve each night individually for times between 6-8pm. You will have a different table and likely different waiter each night. Picking early 530pm or late 8pm dining... You have the same table... and wait staff each night at that time. You must be seated within 20min of your time slot or they give your table away to the My time dining pool.See More
