The PERFECT Honeymoon Cruise by JimE2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The ship was HUGE even for a 1st time cruiser. The suggested location of our stateroom by our agent was perfect as we had easy access to both elevators and very little noise from traffic.

A great tip with RCL by ValerieG5

Sail date: /
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We were very impressed by the size of the ship. The main street inside the ship made it almost hard to believe that you were actually on a ship and not on a city street somewhere in the world. Our cabin was wonderful and had ample storage for just the two of us. However if there were more people in the room if probably would have been a little tight.

Superb Cruise! by AliceD4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We were extrememely pleased with the layout, decor and cleanlness of the Adventure of the Seas. Also, the entire staff was always anxious to help and please us. I have only cruised with Royal Caribbean once before for 2 days, so. esssentially, I was a first-time cruiser with them. I have been on a Princess ship twice and a Celebrity ship once. Although cruising with the other cruise lines was very satisfactory, I wouldn't hesitate to sail with Royal Cribbean again. We were favorably impressed with everything! Also, embarking and disembarking were very orderly and went smoothly.

We had a super trip! by Frankm11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

This was the first time we traveled on the Adventures of the Seas and it was the best trip ever. There were 15 in our family-6 were children and when they would go to the kids club they had so much fun and couldn't wait to go back again. For all the people that had to be taken care of all the meals breakfast in the Windjammer went so smooth and was great. We were a little disappointed in Johnny Rockets-the service was good but because we had to pay a cover charged the food could have been alot better. The entertainment on the Royal Promenade was great. The staff in our assigned dinning area were the best. Food was promptl and if there was something that was not just right it was taken care of. Was a little disappointed with the size of the cabins. I felt it could have been a little larger since there were so many of us and it seemed we always came back to my cabin after meals. All in all it was the best cruise and the ships overall was superb.

Nice ship, staff friendly, rooms small, suggestion to add food service outside a dining room for lunch for at sea days b/c no bathing suits/shoes rule we did not notice at Windjammer. We were not allowe in restaurant and hhad to go back to room to get coberup and shoes.

Too many rude and loud locals on board by PaulL9

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

This was our 7th cruise (3rd time with Royal Caribbean). Check in and boarding was a breeze (less than 1/2 hour before getting to our cabin from time we arrived to the port). Food was not very good. We tried Johnny Rockets ($3.95 surcharge) and the burgers were nothing different that what u could get at the buffet grill. Too many locals from Puerto Rico in big groups on board that were rude and loud. Much of the entertainment was catered to the spanish speaking crowd. We could not enjoy the live music bands without the local spanish speaking guests singing loudly along to disturb other guests who are trying to enjoy the performers. They talked very loud when walking in the hallways, elevators and past other staterooms even late at night. There was salsa music and dancing in the lounge and merenque contest s where the host only spoke in Spanish without any translation to English. The main shows were very boring and uninteresting aside from the comedian and the live music from the bands around the ship. Our stateroom attendant was lousy and lazy. We had to remind him to refill our shampoo pump, give us bar soap , and refill our ice buckets. He did not even clean our room properly before letting us go in. We found a dirty men's underwear and shirt in the closet. There was a cochroach crawling across the floor and the drawers were still dirty with receipts left behind be other guests before us. The ship was beautiful and well kept. The islands were starting to look the same after the 3rd port. The only place to get food after hours was at the cafe promenade, where they only had cookies, pizza and pre-made sandwiches. The overall service of the dining room staff was excellent and the cruise director Pierce Ivan, was very energtic, friendly and funny. We would definitely sail with Royal Caribbean again, but we will never board from San Juan, Puerto Rico again due to the large number of locals on the ship.

A Good Cruise by LarryS11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The cruise was great. the ship was great. the entertainment was great. the food was okay, which was very disappointing, on previous cruises dinner was always a highlight. don't get me wrong, the food was not bad, I just did not eat anything where I went "wow, this is good". I guess my expectations were a little high.

A great cruise by MichaelD10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We were very pleased with the organization of the staff from boarding to disembarking. The stateroom steward was extremely friendly and nice as well as efficient. The stateroom with balcony was nice and roomy compared to other ships we have cruised. Everything ran very smoothly and we will definitely consider cruising with Royal Caribbean again.

An enjoyable cruise by CarolynG5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Caribbean on Adventure of the Seas. Our stateroom was much improved from our last Royal Caribbean cruise. The shower with the sliding doors is a great addition. The staff was attentive. We were disappointed in the formal dining and did not feel it measured up to our past cruises. The Jester's Club while a beautiful setting needs repair to the floor if dancing is expected. Also, the DJ there seemed to miss the mark on several evenings.

The ship and staff was very nice. Be prepared to be in close quarters with alot of people. The windjammer was always crowded. The islands were nice. Our excursion got canceled one day due to lack of interest -snorkling.

Great Way to see the Caribbean by AT323

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We were impressed with the enormous size of the ship, the 3,000 plus passengers on board and yet we never felt crowded or had to contend for lounge chairs, seats for the shows, tables for breakfast or bar service. The layout was easy to understand, allowed for multiple paths around decks and had plenty of public space for relaxing.

The ease and smooth transitions both in boarding, and the availability and ease with which meals were served, especially since this ship was large--Adventure of the Seas!
