Review summary

I love cruising and overall it was a successful very relaxing great cruise. I had no issues and encountered no problems that were not immediately solved by the staff at Royal Caribbean. The food was adequate I never went hungry and there was no drama, incidents or issues. Towards the end of the cruise I think a few kids got a little cooped up after 6-7 nights and started to get a little bratty but it was nothing malicious. Can't wait for my next cruise

Embarkation

Flawless embarking. Less than 10 minutes if that.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was hit or miss. Johnny Rockets and Izumi were the best but for free, Windjammer and MDR were sufficient. Cafe Promenade was good too. I lost count on how much pizza I ate.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Finally did the Flowrider and it was awesome. Pools were great and refreshing. Water aerobics was a hoot. Found the sauna and it was a good feeling after a long excursion.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Hot Art Cool Ice and Can't stop the rock were the shows I saw and they were ok. I give salute to the performers though.. they work really hard and are very talented.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was top notch as always

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship surfaces were constantly being wiped down and areas kept clean. Amazing job by the staff.

Cabin / Stateroom

Comfortable. A/C was definitely working.. too good sometimes 😜 Furniture needs replacing soon and doors could use some WD40. Promenade View room was not a big thrill since our curtains stayed closed. If you don't sit in your room and constantly look out the window The best bet is to either go down to a straight interior room or go up to an ocean view room I never really looked out the window a whole lot on the Promenade view.

Ship tip

The Adventure of the seas is a very nice ship. It's not too big but it's not too small and going from end to end is very easy. There's a lot to do and it was very entertaining. I hope that pretty soon she can get a really good makeover with some new furniture and patch up some of the rusted spots that are inside of the rooms and along the decks but so far they've taken really good care of her and I will sail on it again.

Ports of call

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Booked the tour through the ship. A very nice ride on the boat through the harbor to downtown Charlotte Amalie where we got off and got to walk around. we ate at Glady's Cafe which if you have a chance to do that do so it was very awesome very good food. I will be visiting St Thomas again

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

Got a tour outside the gate and rode around At. Croix. hearing the history of the island was nice but there really wasn't much else to see. I hope the island can get some more commerce to it to make it a little bit more lively I didn't do any of the beaches on the island.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
My first visit to Puerto Rico and I loved it. Had some great espresso at Waffler Avenue Cafe and a great tour of scenic old and new San Juan.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
CoCo Cay is always a win. Got a cabana at Oasis lagoon which was very nice. The pool at Oasis lagoon was awesome with the sand provided for a beach feel but fresh water not salt in the pool. I love that the pool had shallow and deep areas.
