Review summary

A holiday cruise has to deliver a lot to live up to expectations, and this one over-delivered time and time again. The food was excellent, the wait staff speedy, our every whim was catered to; we were so spoiled. I'll publish articles on my blog at DeepWaterHappy about our experience, the fitness classes, and our Scuba diving connections in the islands. Happy Cruising!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
This trip, we splurged on several nights of specialty dining since it was a holiday cruise and we wanted a bit more quiet and calmness at dinner. As always, Izumi was incredible. Chops and Giovanni's were solidly good as well.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did it ALL - rock climbing, ice skating, yoga, body sculpt, cycling, flow rider, water slides, hot tub, sauna, steam room, abs class, stretch class. We enjoyed everything; the fitness center crew Vinit and Munashe were fabulous and kept us all motivated.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There were some special Christmas shows that, in addition to the regular shows, were really special and made the cruise have even more holiday spirit.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Ida kept things so neat and tidy. Every waiter we encountered was attentive to details, had wonderful suggestions, and fast service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship's personnel were seen endlessly cleaning, performing maintenance, and keeping things tidy. This is the first time we enjoyed a mid-cruise balcony pressure wash and clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Ours was a "regular" balcony cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and a perfect size for two people. Each balcony had the most wonderful overhang, and a side section about a foot or two wide that worked out perfectly for storing all our scuba diving gear and equipment while it dryed.

Ship tip

My best advice is to not forget about the Peek-A-Boo deck view of the ship's bridge!
