Food and Dining

2 out of 5
While the service was good the food was not up to expectation in the main dining room. There was a big push from the staff to try the up charged restaurants but we didn’t want the added expense on top of the cruise cost. The buffet style restaurant, Windjammers was great for breakfast and lunch, and the food was flavorful.

Onboard Activities

We hung out around the adult pool quite a bit and it was a nice area.

Ship Quality

Adventure of the Sea has an easy layout to navigate. It’s an older ship and that is fine if it’s maintained well, however this ship had huge dust bunnies on large sculptures and rusted through spots on balconies. I’ve been on several cruises and this ship was just not well maintained compared to the other cruise lines.

Cabin / Stateroom

Anthony, our room attendant did a fabulous job keeping our room clean and comfy. I rated the room with one star because the a/c, refrigerator, and toilet broke. We had to call maintenance in everyday of the cruise, sometimes twice a day.
