Review summary

This was a wonderful cruise on a small to midsize ship, with mostly Texans on board. They proved to be fun and friendly, and I would love to sail out of this port with them again! I went by myself and had a relaxing, delightful vacation. The solarium had huge and hot hottubs that were always filled with friendly shipmates.

I slept well, but this was a strange little cabin all by itself. I nicknamed it “Hemingway,” as it smelled of an old man’s cigar box. There was enough room for a double bed, but no room for a nightstand beside. It served the purpose and was nice and dark for good sleeping, but I definitely didn’t want to hang out in there!

I love this port! Go to the beach in a cheap taxi and spend the day getting a massage on the beach or snorkeling—the Krazy Lobster is great for both.

I did the cenote, hopping adventure, shore, excursion, and had an excellent day, except for getting terribly seasick on the ferry in the morning. Unfortunately, I was not alone in that! But the day was still worth it overall.
